Adult Vocational Training
Vocational education and training is offered as individually designed programmes for unskilled adults. From the start participants are granted credits for job experience, short courses, etc. A training agreement with a company is not required. The courses can be full-time or taken in the participants´ spare time in single subject modules.
Technical diploma programmes are available as individually designed programmes for skilled workers in active employment. The programmes are usually delivered in modules to be taken in the participants´ spare time.
Technical colleges offer a wide selection of short continuing training courses for skilled workers. People who have been made redundant are offered up-grading. Increasingly important are tailor-made in-house training courses, typically in mangement, new high technology (IT), or jobfunctions in an international context. |
